The battle of Waterloo confronted French army led by Napoleon and British, Dutch and German troops led by Duke of Wellington and the Prussian army of marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, near the location of Waterloo (Belgium), on 18th of June of 1815.

Thanks to reenactors we can sit and admire these beautiful scenes, imaging how these ancient wars looked like.
