Inside out !

The real KG9 was designed by the Swedish company Interdynamic AB as an economic SMG for the military world. However, it didn’t work out, so they tried their luck in the US civilian market with a semi-automatic version.

There it became very popular among criminals due to its open bolt design, which made it easy to turn it into an automatic. So, that detail was required to be changed by the ATF, which gave birth to the KG99 or TEC9 that is so often seen in TV series, from the A Team to Sons of Anarchy, as well as in films like Robocop or SWAT.

The manufacturers, RWA (not to be confused with the distributors Redwolf), have made this KG9 replica like a PTW. This AEG has a compact design, an amazing rate of fire and is an ideal replica for open and CQB environments. This model is going to have gold and chrome limited editions.

Modular Gearbox

The gearbox is modular, with an upper part similar to the PTW while the lower part is RWA'S own design for this model. It features 8mm bearings embedded in the gearbox walls (no external exit window) and high quality steel gears. Unlike a PTW, it has no electronic firing module.

PTW Gearbox

The upper gearbox assembly is very similar to the PTW. The whole pneumatic system is enclosed in a tube like in a PTW, so it can easily be changed for an upgrade (or downgrade) as needed.

Hop-up

Apart from the gearbox, another element that recalls a PTW is the hop-up, which can be easily adjusted with an Allen key (included) from the outside.

Barrel

The inner barrel is 207 mm long and has an inside diameter of 6.04 mm, but what is really striking is that it is thicker than a common AEG. That's another feature that makes this more like a PTW than a normal AEG.
