Nuprol Delta Series comprises around 30 different M4 models. It is a homage to variety, and a sign of the brand’s understanding that not all airsofters like the same thing. The two models in this review, the Enforcer and the Jackal, probably represent the most realistic line of the range, and that will surely earn a place in the hearts of more than a few players. Sure enough, it has already had a special place in our hearts for a long time.

HANDGUARD

This type of handguard reminds us of the Daniel Defense factory that became so fashionable among airsofters when the SOPMOD Block I included the Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS for the special operations operators of the USSOCOM. It uses a full RIS rail on all four sides and is really firm. In fact; to remove it you must unscrew an unusual amount of screws that can make us lose hope. Although you don’t have to disassemble it very often, so it’s no big deal.

STOCK

The Crane Stock has proved to be very useful in airsoft thanks to its wide capacity for storing batteries with two lateral cavities parallel to the stock tube. It is also compact and comfortable to shoulder thanks to the rubber recoil pad and the large surfaces to support the cheek, which are also sometimes used to jot down the call codes, radio frequencies, small maps... Like we have also seen with two rubber bands which many operators carry chemical lights under the stock to indicate positions, clear rooms or other eventualities.

MAGAZINE

The magazine is the metallic standard, the one most commonly used by operators who use this assault rifle and probably the most popular among airsofters. Being metallic provides a greater sense of realism, although it’s not very different from any other one you may have at home. It can hold up to 370 BBs and is fed like most hi-caps by a wheel in its lower part, where the Nuprol logo is located which will help you differentiate it from others (although it is not a bad idea to mark our magazines with a permanent marker so as not to lose them or mix them up with those belonging to other players).

FOLDING SIGHTS

We liked the activation system of the folding sights. Tightening a screw that protrudes on the outside (if we are right-handed shooters), they spring up, meaning that activation is very intuitive and easy, even wearing gloves to prevent any pinches. They are even faster to fold since you all you have to do is lower them with the palm of your hand until you hear the click, although it really has very little resistance. When you shoulder the replica, it has a traditional M4 system, with two more or less open rings in the rear piece and the trident in the front.

HANDGUARD

The handguard of this model reminds us of the URX III model in Knight's Armament (KAC) catalogue. As in the previous replica, it has two floating barrel handguards, which in theory enable greater accuracy when firing (in real models, since they have a merely aesthetic purpose in airsoft replicas). Although it is a model with RIS, it is only continuous at the top, since the bottom and sides are located at the end of the handguard to be able to attach a flashlight, ANPEQ or bipod, leaving the rest free (you can attach additional RIS if necessary, but they are not included) to make a handguard finer and more comfortable to shoulder.

MUZZLE

This is one of the most popular muzzles in M4s. Known as A2 "birdcage" (for its cage-shape forge), it was designed to solve durability issues in the M16 of the 60s. Its design shows that the lower part is closed, and although some people think that it is a compensation system, it really only serves to prevent the dust from entering the barrel. Although, as you can imagine, its purpose is merely aesthetic since it does not affect the performance of the replica gun.

INTERNAL PARTS

GEARBOX VERSION 2

The gearbox is a Version 2 with quick spring change, which means you don’t need to open the entire gearbox to change the spring, which facilitates its maintenance and enables the gun’s performance to last longer.

SPRING

To access the spring, you will have to turn the spring guide, which has a metal head for this purpose although the tube is made of polymer and has a metal washer to help in the torsion of the spring. This reduces the stress of the spring, an M100 type, when firing in full auto.

BARREL AND HOP-UP

The two replicas assemble 6.03 mm precision barrels made of steel with QPQ finish, only with different lengths (280 mm in the case of the Enforcer and 380 mm in the Jackal). The hop-up chamber is made of polymer, with the conventional but effective three roulettes system.

MOTOR AND GEARS

The model has a high torque motor as standard. It also combines a 7 mm bearing in the engine gear and 7 mm caps for the other two looking for less friction in the turn, and a better rate of fire. This all provides a 750 BB per minute firing ratio.

PNEUMATIC SET

It is simply awesome that Nuprol uses full metal teeth on its polymer pistons since it extends the life of the internal parts. The piston head is also made of polymer, so when it hits the cylinder head (which is also made of polymer) the damage is reduced. The ventilated cylinder adjusts the amount of air to the length of the barrel to offer a good BB flight.

CONCLUSIONS

The Nuprol’s Delta Series offers us almost 30 different models, so it is very hard for someone not to find a model they like. While they are externally different, they all share a philosophy of quality and a configuration tested to the standards of the brand. All you have to do is choose yours, which one will you pick?
