Ghettos

There is something that we love as airsofters, playing with people like us, who despises bullshit, who focuses on what is important and who has been around for a while and knows what it is all about. We enjoy when we meet other people who share our philosophy, who have experience and see the hobby as what it really is. This is something that happens to us, even without realizing it, to many of us veterans. We focus on the people who are and play like us, and we become a ghetto. 

This makes it very difficult for those who are starting to mingle with us, learn from us or become the type of players with whom we like to share the hobby. And they have no choice but to learn their own way,  the hard way, without being able to take advantage of our experience. That is why we have to leave our ghettos, help those who start being like us (or better), and do our part to make this hobby better and bigger.
