The "way of the warrior" or Bushidô represent the new line of SAIGO Defense. An internally and externally improved range, designed and prepared so that the most demanding players can enjoy SAIGO products.

BUSHIDO REI

Courtesy: You don't need to show your strength, respect the enemy.

-"Grizzly” muzzle: Yes, that is right, it is a typical AK muzzle, but that Saigo has adapted to this model and, we must admit, it looks very cool.

-Vertical Grip: The Saigo REI model comes with a BCM Gunfighter style front grip included in the box with M-Lok system to anchor it to the replica's handguard. We can put this grip in two different ways:

Forward angle: With this shape we will increase the stiffness of the forearm and provide a more natural wrist angle.

Reverse angle: This shape will provide us a better grip on the handguard.

-Telescopic stock:  The stock is the key player in this replica. In this model, SAIGO offers this telescopic stock in the same colour as the upper receiver and with a stock tube painted in the same tone as the lower receiver, which is one of the great novelties of the entire BUSHIDO range since replicas with the stock tubes already painted are rare and if we want to buy it separately it adds an extra € 45-50 to the price tag.

The best: It is designed to carry out folded be deployed in combat, following in some way the PDW’s philosophy in which it tries to reduce the size of the model without giving up its benefits.

The worst:  It is not really a negative thing, but it forces you to use square batteries (there are many available in the market at all different powers) instead of the elongated ones that you would normally carry in the tube of your replica gun.

BUSHIDO GI

Honesty and Justice:
For a Samurai there is only right and wrong.

-Holographic effect: This is the name of the effect they have given to the muzzle mounted by GI, an effect that seeks to simulate the burning of the muzzle in real models that takes place with the heat of the gases that are expelled when firing.

-Japanese markings: Although these are present in the three models, I wanted to highlight them in the GI model, where we will be able to appreciate much better the marking of the body with the banner with Japanese letters that means "Bushido" and the marking of the "Saigo" logo on the pistol grip.

-Marksman stock:  The stock mimics the Strike Industries MOD1 concept with QD hooks for the strap and an oversized part to rest the cheek in a much better way.

BUSHIDO YU

Heroic Value: Stand up and replace fear with courage.

-Colours: The great novelty of this series are the dual tones on both the YU and the REI model.

Coyote dual tone: We can see a matching colour scheme between the upper receiver's coyote and a brown colour similar to the RAL 8000 that we airsofters like so much in the lower receiver, as well as in the stock tube.

OD dual tone: In this model, durability is found between a black colour and a green OD.

-Paracord rope: The stock has a detail that we have seen in pictures of gun lovers. It is a piece of braided paracord rope that joins the two ends of the stock, closing it as if it were a MOE stock.

-M-LOK handguard:  The model mounts an M-LOK handguard in which three rises rails are already attached, two on the sides and one on the bottom, to be able to attach accessories to the replica.

Upgrades

Unlike previous Saigo models, this new Bushido line is made of metal to offer a new range with superior qualities to players looking for a little more quality in their replicas.

It includes a Maple Leaf rubber, with a fluted design for a better grip on the hop-up chamber, longer lips to better seal the coupling of the nozzle, the triangle-shaped protrusion inside that enhances the effect, the nub which increases the surface in contact with the ball... all these to provide the ball with a 20-30% range increase regardless of the speed at which our replica is fired.

The straight electronic trigger is one of the innovative features of this series. Many shooters opt for them to shorten the trigger travel time, in addition to being lightened they offer less resistance. All together gives you a faster response in game, which although may not be a huge difference for some, it is always appreciated.

Saigo's new Bushido series mounts its new reinforced gearbox which contains a piston head and a metal cylinder head, which together with the metal nozzle with an O-ring will achieve a power of 330 fps.

The replicas include a 130rds Mid-Cap magazine. The magazine design is Magpul style and is made of a very resistant polymer that will withstand drops and falls.

Bushido defined the attitude and behaviour of the samurai.

In the Tokugawa era, in which there were no longer wars, it was transformed into a spiritual discipline and gradually exerted its influence on the ethics of the economic life of the common people. A code of life that is based on seven principles:

GI- Honesty and Justice: For a Samurai there is only right and wrong.

JIN- Compassion: You are stronger than the others, help them.

YU- Heroic Value: Stand up and replace fear with courage.

MEIYO- Honor: A Samurai has only one judge of his own honor.

MAKOTO- Absolute Sincerity: Speaking and doing are the same action.

REI- Courtesy: You do not need to show your strength, respect the enemy.

CHUGI- Duty and Loyalty: True to the code and consistent with the path chosen.
