The veteran perspective

Hobbies, like many other things in life, require continuous updating, you never stop learning and discovering that the limit of your knowledge can always go a little further.

While it is true that experience gives you a certain perspective on things, this does not mean that you possess the absolute truth on a topic. For this reason, I enjoy observing, as a voyeur, how the highly overrated hierarchical grade of “Veteran” is over used, in which opinions that we could classify in the category of absolute truths rather than as advice based on personal experience are often given.

Sharing your experience is positive, but it is different from giving a categorical and absolutist opinion about something.
