Must-see documentary: RESTREPO

A documentary worth being remembered these days. The cruelty of Afghanistan war.

A cronicle of the lives of an American platoon soliders fighting in Korengal, the most dangerous valley of Afghanistan. The documentary focuses on a remote post compound constituted by 15 men, called Restrepo. A fifth part of the entire combats of the entire country happen in this valley.

Sebastian Junger, journalist, and Tim Hetherington, renowned photographer winner of several World Press Photo awards, lived some months crammed with Marine soldiers in the valley, capturing spectacular images of a conflict's real brutality.
