Without a doubt, one of the most well-known units of the United States Army is the 101st Airborne Division. Its emblem, the screaming eagle, represents the great American eagle that crushes its enemies by falling upon them like a thunderbolt from the skies. 

This unit is on everyone’s mind and takes us from World War II (thanks to series like Band of Brothers) to the present day in the War in Afghanistan. As well as all the campaigns in which the United States Army has been involved in between: Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Kuwait, Iraq, etc. Always spearheading the first wave of taking enemy targets.
