The futuristic pistol with Glock DNA

The WE Galaxy G Series is a pistol based on the Ruger MK4, using the upper structure and a futuristic aesthetic, combined with the lower that so many players like—the Glock frame. Although modified in its trigger guard, trigger, and slide interface, it is more of an inspiration from this famous pistol than a direct replica. For that reason, it uses—and logically remains compatible with—G-series magazines.

If you’re a collector who enjoys different colours, then you’re in luck with this new Galaxy G series. WE Airsoft launched this “WE Galaxy G Series GBB” as its flagship product for 2021, and it comes in five colours: black, blue, gold, violet, and silver. And yes, all finishes are glossy—if you’re going to run a violet pistol, matte makes no sense. Do it properly and go gloss. Well played, WE.

As mentioned, it’s available in multiple colours and built in aluminium. One interesting aspect of the slide is its lightening cuts, which not only add a strong visual identity but also allow the mounting of small RIS sections—two of which are included with the pistol.

The front section can be unscrewed, revealing a threaded adapter for attaching a suppressor or compensator.

It also features an elevation-adjustable rear sight and a green fibre optic front sight to improve target acquisition in low-light conditions.
As an extra, the pistol includes two rails (short and long). The longer one is designed for the top, allowing the addition of aiming systems such as an RMR. A strong point of the design is that even with the top rail installed, the iron sights remain usable. The shorter rail is intended for the lower part of the slide, allowing the addition of accessories such as a flashlight.

A pistol capable of full-auto fire can be extremely useful—especially when it allows you to fire 25 BBs in under 3 seconds. To push this platform even further, using WE’s extended magazine with a 50 BB capacity would make it even more interesting. Just an idea…
Power, but under control. With gas magazines and 0.20 g BBs, the pistol averages around 310–320 FPS, with a very high rate of fire. The result is a sidearm that can get you out of tight situations—especially for a sniper at close range (in that case, we’d recommend the black version for better discretion).
