The Tokyo Marui HK416 Delta Custom is one of the most modern and stylised versions of the HK416 family within the Next Generation Recoil Shock (NGRS) catalogue from Tokyo Marui. Based on current HK416 configurations used by various military and police units, this replica combines electronics, simulated recoil, and a far more aggressive aesthetic than the brand’s classic models. 

One of the most recognisable details of this Delta Custom is its RAL8000 finish, a colour originally developed in Germany for arid environments that eventually became one of the shades most associated with the modern HK416. Many people confuse it with standard tan, but RAL8000 has a much more muted and greenish tone that is highly distinctive. 

Tokyo Marui clearly aimed here for a much more modern setup:

• Shorter and more compact barrel 
• Modern-style suppressor 
• Flip-up sights 
• Crane-style stock

All of this built around Marui’s well-known NGRS platform, which incorporates simulated electric recoil and a functional bolt stop when the magazine is empty.

Internally, it maintains one of Tokyo Marui’s usual strengths: smooth operation and excellent consistency. It does not aim for extreme power figures, but rather to offer a balanced, reliable replica that remains very enjoyable during continuous use. 

Another interesting detail is that the Delta Custom quickly became one of the favourite bases for modern DEVGRU or SFOD-D style setups within airsoft, precisely because of its combination of compact size and an aesthetic very close to current real-world configurations.

The HK416 Delta Custom does not try to reinvent the 416.

It simply adapts it to the way modern tactical platforms are understood today.
