Possibly the SD6 version of the MP5 is one of the most iconic replicas in the world of airsoft. I would almost dare to say it is one of those replicas that everyone who has spent years playing has either owned or at least dreamed of having in their “arsenal”. 

If there is one leading brand when it comes to offering MP5 replicas on the market, it is CYMA, which designates this model as the CM.041 SD6, and on top of that, it is a Blue Edition. That means upgraded internals and inclusion within CYMA’s high-end range.  

What would we highlight about the CM.041 models? 
• It is a Blue Edition (obviously), meaning CYMA’s premium range 
• Full metal body, very solid 
• 6.03 mm precision inner barrel 
• Retractable stock 
• Removable suppressor (Marui-style mounting system) 
• You can fit a top RIS rail (sold separately)

• Plenty of battery space thanks to its old-school handguard 

Internals 
The model features a Version 2 gearbox that stands out thanks to its steel gears mounted on reinforced 7 mm bearings. The piston is polymer with full metal teeth, the cylinder head is CNC-machined with double O-rings, and the piston head is aluminium. All of this is designed to drive a fairly powerful spring that delivers around 390 FPS using 0.20 g BBs. 
The inner barrel length is 220 mm (ending at the beginning of the suppressor), but it is a solid 6.03 mm precision barrel that provides very good results during shooting tests. 

It is elegant, it carries the glamour of the SAS, it is a great replica for CQB, and the suppressor looks incredible on it. Does it really need any more conclusion than that?
