Ideas & Tips for Setting Up Your Tactical Vest

There is no perfect setup that works for every player. The best vest is the one that allows you to access your gear quickly, move comfortably, and play for hours without discomfort.

We have a video on this topic with more than 320,000 views. Why so many? We honestly have no idea, but one of our bearded guys is there to explain it all to you.
Some basic ideas that usually work:
• Place your magazines where you can reach them without changing your shooting position.
• Avoid filling every MOLLE slot just because it is available. Less weight usually means greater mobility.
• Keep the items you use most often on the front or on your dominant side.
• Test your setup during a game before considering it final.
• If you never use a pouch, you probably do not need to carry it.
• Adjust the vest properly to your body to avoid bouncing and unnecessary movement.
• Think about function first and aesthetics second.
There is even a part two of the successful first video.
Remember that real operators configure their equipment according to the mission. Airsoft should be exactly the same: a CQB setup is not the same as one for woodland games or a milsim event.
Because at the end of the day, a good vest is not the one carrying the most equipment.
It is the one that helps you do your job better.
