AQUILA was the standard carried at the head of the Roman legions to the sound of "signa inferre", the command ordering the troops to advance toward the enemy, sweeping away everything in their path. 
Without a doubt, it's one of the best names Secutor could have chosen for its LMG: a replica designed to push forward and dominate the battlefield. 

What makes this LMG stand out? 
Weight is one of its greatest strengths. The complete replica, including the box magazine and dummy rounds, weighs just 3.2 kg. That's 1 kg lighter than the original ARES version and 1.5 kg lighter than Classic Army's Stoner LMG. Believe us—you'll appreciate that difference after several hours of carrying it during a game.

And yes, the Aquila is built entirely from metal, but its barrel assembly and M-LOK RIS handguard significantly reduce overall weight, placing it among the most comfortable full-metal LMGs available for the support gunner role. It also features an especially attractive AR-15 style adjustable stock, allowing each player to tailor the length of pull for maximum comfort. 

This is another major advantage over other Stoner-style LMGs, many of which use fixed stocks that can be uncomfortable for taller or shorter players. Incorporating an adjustable AR-style stock is an excellent decision, both functionally and aesthetically. 

What's inside? 
The Aquila comes factory-equipped with a Maple Leaf Macaron 60° yellow hop-up rubber, an ideal choice for replicas shooting around 380–390 FPS with medium-weight BBs. Combined with its 420 mm 6.03 mm precision inner barrel, it delivers excellent range and a stable, consistent flight path. 
Another important feature is its quick spring change system, allowing you to adjust the rifle's power without opening the gearbox—perfect for adapting the replica to different field limits. 

Naturally, this LMG is powered by a High Torque motor capable of handling stronger springs without excessive mechanical stress. Internally, it also features a combination of 8 mm bearings and bushings, a full steel-tooth piston, and silver wiring to ensure reliable electrical performance.

The Box Magazine 

This is another area where Secutor has clearly improved on competing designs. Unlike the Classic Army version, which uses an external side feeding tube that reduces realism, or the ARES model, whose battery wiring can be somewhat inconvenient, the Aquila offers a much cleaner solution.

First of all, the Aquila's box magazine attaches magnetically, eliminating the usual hassle of managing external cables. The battery connection is neatly stored inside the box itself and protected beneath the fabric cover, available in either Multicam Black or Multicam, depending on the version.
