SECUTOR CENTURION V

There’s no denying that Secutor knows how to read the needs of the market, and it is doubling down on the Centurion range with 4 new models. In this case, we’re going to talk about the V models, some very cool MCX-style models that (although they are expensive) contribute to what we call “the democratization of GBB”.

What does this concept mean? Well, MWS GBBs from Marui used to be replicas that only some people could afford, because let’s be honest, it’s not what the Marui itself costs, it’s what you’re going to spend to make it look cool and stop it from being an old, ugly M4A1. In other words, if you wanted something cool, you had to spend €1,000–1,500 (speaking from personal experience, haha).

Democratization means that Secutor and other brands have managed to launch MWS-system replicas that already look cool straight out of the box at much lower prices.

UPGRADES AS STANDARD

One of the major new features is its specific steel bolt. This is not the conventional bolt found in an M4: its design responds to the particular architecture of this platform, while maintaining broad compatibility with the MWS aftermarket ecosystem.

This is complemented by a Maple Leaf MR.HOP GBB 60° bucking with Omega nub, an Angry Gun Enhanced Drop-In Complete MPA Nozzle Set Gen.2 NPAS to regulate power, and a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel. The new generation also introduces improvements to the screws and different reinforcements aimed at creating a more solid overall platform.

COMPACT AND MODULAR

The CENTURION V features a 9-inch configuration, combined with an M-LOK handguard that allows all kinds of accessories to be mounted while maintaining particularly convenient dimensions for CQB.

Another of its most characteristic features is the telescopic and folding stock. Unlike a conventional GBB M4, the recoil system does not need to be housed inside a rear buffer tube, allowing the stock to fold completely and making the replica genuinely compact.

It also retains the characteristic 35-BB DD-style magazine used in previous CENTURION models and will be available in two finishes: Black and Coyote/Bronze.

A VERY DIFFERENT CENTURION

SECUTOR has done it again: offering an exciting product based on Double Eagle’s reliable MWS mechanics, reinforced, upgraded and with all those improvements already installed as standard.
