The Battle of Sebastopol

This is the life of Lyudmia a young student who was forced to join the army in 1941. The girl turned out to be a born sniper, his impressive skill and dexterity make it stand out among men and women alike during the war. Seeing in Pavlichenko a tangible threat the German high command gives orders to remove the girl at any price.

Man not only the list of the most famous shooters of history is made. Ukrainian sniper, Lyudmila Pavlichenko (July 12th, 1916, Ukraine - October 10th, 1974) is known to have killed 309 enemies during World War II, including 36 enemy snipers.

The film, which tells the story of Pavlichenko with a nonlinear narrative ─which seeks to emulate the mechanism of memory─ is not specifically part in the war genre but also includes psychological and melodramatic elements, such as love life of Pavlichenko, although in this aspect the film departs markedly from the history.
