Brazil, experts in jungle combat

According to a statement signed by Colonel CIGS, Alcimar Marques de Araújo Martins, China will not send its soldiers and officers to Brazil for instruction, as originally planned in July but will be the Brazilian agency who will send his official to China for on-site training.

"We have been asked to send instructors to help them develop their own program of combat training in the jungle in China" said the officer CIGS.

The CIGS is based in Manaus (northwest). During the course which is held three times a year, participants learn techniques of jungle warfare including close combat body besides survival, navigation, guidance and hunting in the jungle.
