Among airsoft players, a sniper is a player with a ghillie or 3D leaf. You don't like them because they slow you down. Is it because airsoft snipers work differently than real world ones? The range of a airsoft sniper is very limited. You can't stay at one place and shoot all over the field like a real sniper. You have to adapt the very dynamic airsoft battlefield to get close enough to the enemies. I believe the way you move and where you move is way more important than the actual camouflage. A ghillie suit has a lot of disadvantages when it comes to movement. It gets caught up everywhere so it sometimes forces you to make a lot of unnecessary movement to free yourself again when you are caught up in some bush.
