The M40 is the US Marines Corps sniper rifle par excellence. Since the Vietnam War until now, it has been a loyal companion to one of the best sniper units in the world. A fidelity that not only the Marines carry in their motto, "Semper fidelis", but which true airsoft snipers (not those who buy a sniper rifle as soon as they start playing) value more than anything in a rifle of this kind and with which APS has fully complied. This replica is not only lightweight, comfortable to use and reliable, it is also available in a wide range of camouflage prints (black, tan, Multicam, MC black, Atacs AU) applied by water transfer, this way there is no need to carry any extra gear for the rifle to be as well-camouflaged as you are.

REINVENTING THE WHEEL

It has an improved bbs feed system based on the one developed by Tokyo Marui. Each time the bolt is cocked, a nozzle flips feeds each bb through the front of the magazine (instead of feeding them from the top) and through a tube that takes it to the hop chamber. This allows the model to have the magazine in the same place as the actual model and avoids the problem of double feeding.

MARKSMAN POWER

Although the model can be found in different configurations and powers to suit the regulations of each country, this sniper replica is prepared to provide 530-550 FPS with 0.20 g. bbs. That is why the best system for this kind of power is the spring, since it does not suffer variations by temperature and allows us to always expect the same result when firing our rifle.

The stock of this model can be assembled and disassembled just by pressing a button, without tools! Which makes it easier to store or transport. You can also regulate the creek pad in any of its three positions by pressing a button, so you can naturally adjust your eyes to the level of the sights by resting your cheek.

AN ACCURATE BARREL

APS has mounted a 6'03 mm precision barrel made of stainless steel. Somewhat unusual, though very necessary in our opinion!! Besides, six centrers correctly align it inside the outer barrel and cancel the vibration of the shot, helping to achieve a great grouping and accuracy.

MAKING THE DIFFERENCE

Only great airsoft marksmen worry about regulating trigger travel or trigger weight (the amount of force you need to apply trigger it). But APS has prepared a trigger set in which you can adjust the travel from 0 to 4 mm and the resistance from 0.5 to 1 lb (when other rifles only allow 3 to 6 lb).

A HAND FOR CORRECTION

In this replica the left hand is not only the support hand, as with it we can adjust the hop-up using the external lever of the handguard, without needing to disassemble anything! Which allows us to correct the flight of our bbs and fire again in a matter of seconds. A good sniper should correct the hop-up during a match, and this surely makes it easier.

LOOKING WHERE NO ONE DOES

We have dismantled even the cylinder to let you know that the piston is of extraordinary quality, and even better, the inner piston is also made of fibre and has a metallic reinforcement. 

The spring rail is made of plastic but the point of contact with the trigger is made of metal to increase resistance.
