Gladius reinvents itself and launches its high-end replica called MAGNA, a pistol made in Taiwan by LEAD CHIH (the company responsible for other Secutor models such as Rudis, Ludus or Bellum) and in collaboration with, Maple Leaf, the prestigious brand of hop-ups, which make MAGNA an incredible evolution of the Gladius series. The hype is real, MAGNA are the top of the range pistols by Secutor and offers amazing features in the VI (black) and III (TAN) models under the motto Virtus Vincere Tenebras.

A spectacular design in CNC aluminium that features interesting additions to the already cutting edge style of the North American gun industry.
The slide has been lightened with lateral and upper openings (1) to enable (in the real gun) better ventilation and less weight, two different line design (2) to be able to cock it and prevent the slide from slipping and various double-sunken motifs (3) on the sides and upper part (where the marking of the model is displayed in Roman numerals) that make the overall design more elegant. We will talk about the upper screws and the option of attaching an RMR (4) later on.

RMR

The pistol is prepared to be able to adapt an RMR directly on the slide without the need for a platforms or RIS. The area is decorated with the SPQR marking (Secutor marking on the lines with higher quality) and crowned by two decorative screws like the real pistol weapons with plate.
How do add
the RMR?
This is the important point in the manual, and that we don't normally read... The screws that come with the pistol are decorative screws, emulating the screws that incorporate various brands of real guns into the plates. You must remove them and purchase the SECUTOR screws for the RMR separately. You can use any Trijicon-style RMR or with the Trijicon screws’ width, but you CANNOT use the RMR hardware
The Secutor screws for RMR with reference no. SAGM1003 (different from those that come with the gun and different from those that come with the RMR) have been cut and polished one by one to ensure that the length of the screw does not interfere with the operation of the nozzle (internal part) if you use the screws of your RMR they rub or retain the nozzle when you tighten them and the gun does not perform a firing cycle.

THE GUN
Secutor hit the spot for two reasons: In first place for installing AUTOBOT 50º rubbers on standard pistols is like having an upgraded pistol taking it out of the box. And the second point is that they have managed to reduce the power by 10-15 fps using CO2. That is why this pistol in the middle of summer and with CO2 using 0'20 gr bb’s can provide around 320 fps, which allows its use without needing a reducer.

CYCLE
Another improved detail is the slide cycle itself. One issue with many Marui style pistols with metal slides is that the firing cycle can sometimes be slowed down a bit if the replica is not perfectly greased up. Magna has redesigned the dimensions of the slide to improve functionality and reduce weight, and has designed a new silicone buffer which improves the operation of the guide on the slide.
CO2 AND GAS MAGAZINE
Gladius Magna includes an oversized lower trim in its magazine, for functionality and aesthetics purposes, which are both very important in a pistol. This bezel which is basically a lengthening widely used in real pistols for people with large hands or to facilitate the user a quick change of magazine from his gun pouch (being more elongated is easier to hold) and of course there are gas magazines available and in both tan and black colours.

We have already said that it is made in Taiwan by LEAD CHIH, in our opinion one of the best airsoft gun factories in the world, this is a good thing for Gladius Magna users, because it allows a huge repertoire of spare parts as it is the factory from another brand also very popular, like KJWorks, which is obviously compatible.
