Seniority in a hobby is often misunderstood, since it is not a noble title whose status quo keep you in a higher ranking position simply because you’ve been playing for a number of years. Actually, being an airsoft veteran should be synonymous with setting an example. And if you want respect, you have to earn it by working to improve your community, helping newcomers, and being active in growing the hobby you love so much. Then, you will be able to earn the right to say:
