ROSSI SENTINEL FROM BETA TO ZETA

These new models from the Rossi Sentinel series are made entirely of polymer, unlike the previous ones that came with a metal handguard. This makes them extremely lightweight and affordable for all players. The quality of the materials and the strength of their assembly means that when we pick them up, our first impression is already of high quality. This is reinforced when we see the performance of their inner parts.

NEW FEATURES

These new Sentinel models come with a different stock to the classic crane, which has a lighter and more minimalist feel, and this is something we really like. The pistol grip is also new, with a beavertail backstrap that enables better grip for our hands when shooting. A more modern hicap magazine made of polymer, which is the same design as the new Neptunes although those ones are midcap. And lastly, a new design of folding sights which are more discreet and equally as functional, with which the whole replica is more tactical and modern.

HANDGUARD

Beta
This model is the only one that comes with a handguard with Picatinny rails on four sides, in the purest Daniel Defense style, like the Neptune Marsoc one but made of polymer instead of metal.

Zeta
This handguard has an MLOK instead of Picatinny rails, making it lighter and less bulky, which is also helped by the fact it is made of polymer. We will be able to find it in two different lengths: the 8.5” and 10.5” models.

Gamma
Just like the Zetas, this handguard has an MLOK, although in this case it is only available in one size. The QD mounts that we find on both ends and at each side to mount the sling make up for this to a certain extent.

BODY

These models share the same new custom body as has been deliberately created by Rossi for the Sentinel series, albeit recognizably based on an AR15 (yes, an M4). And we really like details such as the ambidextrous magazine release, or the enlarged trigger guard with the serrated detail on the underside, a detail that is repeated on the front part of the body to improve grip if we hold the replica at that point.

POLYMER

The frame as well as the handguard, sights, pistol grip, magazine, stock tube and obviously the stock are made of polymer. which not only reduces the weight of the replicas and makes them more comfortable to play with, but also allows the models to be cheaper and within reach for all budgets.

CONCLUSION

Cheap and cheerful: is this the key to happiness? Because this is definitely the impression we’re given by these new Rossi models. A great option for many players looking for an externally attractive replica (it would be strange if you do not like any of the eight models that this series has), whose performance allows us to play seamlessly, because there is always room for an upgrade, though, its electronic trigger, precision barrel and 8 mm bearings are not bad at all as a starting point.
