If we talk about a key reference in HI-CAPA models alongside Tokyo Marui, we must undoubtedly mention the Taiwanese brand KJWorks. If you're looking for full-metal pistols that are compatible with both CO2 and gas, and that function perfectly all year round regardless of temperature, this brand should be one of your top choices. Moreover, their designs and the quality of their products are among the best in the market.
In 2025, KJWorks comes in strong with the launch of its KP-19S model, a pistol designed for the most demanding users.

1. Front and rear fibre optic sights
2. 12 mm internal thread (clockwise)
3. Lightweight aluminium slide with cut-out design
4. Adjustable trigger travel
5. Durable steel internal parts (hammer, sear, disconnector, and valve lock)
6. Large ambidextrous thumb safety
7. Oversized magazine release button
8. Extended slide catch
9. Fixed CNC-machined outer barrel

Fixed CNC-machined barrel
The outer barrel stands out for its antique gold colour, which is exactly the same as in real firearm models. It is a fixed outer barrel, eliminating recoil and improving shooting stability. This barrel is CNC-machined with a fluted design, which not only makes it lighter but also ensures a precision finish.
But what does a fixed barrel mean? Essentially, the outer barrel is secured with a set screw to the hop-up unit and the inner barrel, joining both parts. This optimises shooting stability and minimises any movement between the outer barrel and the slide.

The fluted design, along with the anodised aluminium finish and precision machining, makes the outer barrel not only aesthetically appealing but also reduces material and, therefore, the overall weight of the piece. In summary, a "fixed" outer barrel delivers consistent performance, greater accuracy, and more stable velocity.

14mm counter-clockwise
The outer barrel is finished with a 14mm CCW thread (yes, counter-clockwise), allowing compatibility with various accessories such as a suppressor, tracer unit, or compensator when using the thread adapter.

Fibre optic sights
The sights on this model use a three-dot system with exposed green fibre optic rods embedded in them. These rods capture ambient light and transmit it to a single point at the front sight, increasing visibility and making alignment more intuitive and faster. Of course, this works very well when playing outdoors or in bright conditions, but not so much at night or in dark environments.

Oversized magazine release button
The magazine release button is not just oversized—it actually protrudes fully from the pistol’s frame. This increases the button’s surface area, making it easier to "find" blindly, and by following the grip’s textured pattern, it gains additional anti-slip properties.
Extended slide release
The slide release features a longer design than what we are used to in 1911 or Hi-Capa models. While maintaining the same design and function, the lever extends a few millimetres further, reaching over the side of the grip, making it easier to activate regardless of grip style or finger length.

Internals
KJWorks is known for the great attention to detail in the internals of its models. In this case, we find components such as a lightweight aluminium blowback housing, and other steel parts, which are more durable, including the hammer, trigger sear, disconnector bar, and valve lock. Does all of this sound too technical? Don't worry—just know that the internals are of excellent quality.

All year round
The model comes standard with two magazines, one for CO2 and one for gas, both with a capacity of 26 BBs. The oversized baseplate included as standard provides a better grip, making it easier to draw a fresh magazine and speed up reloads. Notably, as the manufacturer highlights, the gas magazine is made of lightweight aluminium.
