- Rw. Secutor Rudis Series -

SECUTOR, which means "hunter", comes to market with its motto "when the Secutor speaks, the enemies fall silent". Secutors were feared gladiators, experts in hand-to-hand combat, and their sword was the most feared weapon at short distances. Nowadays, this gun takes its place among the warriors who venture into CQB short distances. She is the new Rudis, will you be the new Secutor?

RUDIS

Secutor launches the Rudis range, originally consisting of the "VI" model in black, "III" in gold and "XI" in silver. It stands out thanks to the excellent branding on the top of the slide, and these are not mere words, as the sword engraved on the outer barrel "stabs" your enemy every time you fire. A very elegant feature and consistent with the slogan.

Light, fast & elegant

Secutor, following the SAI line, offers three openings in its slide which, besides an aesthetic function, lighten the weight of the slide to improve firing speed. Besides, the slides of the Rudis models have been made of an aluminium alloy which provides more flexibility to the set (key for blowback power) and provides a lighter weight. Other brands offer zamak slides, a heavier and less flexible material, and especially more vulnerable to breakage.

Gas is a less stable technology in changing climates, although CO2 guns have always had the same problem: too much power. However, SECUTOR has worked intensively on their O-rings, which enable their guns to offer stable 300-305 FPS with 0.20 g BBs using CO2 (bearing in mind the ideal power for European CQB). We were able to test the first batch in Taiwan and later in our offices. Always stable at that power, it's no coincidence!

When manufacturing, do it right

The recoil spring rail is made of cast iron, and so are several of the internal parts. Other items such as the trigger or the hammer are made of aluminium, and special care has been taken in manufacturing the casing of the barrel (the front piece that holds the barrel centered in the slide) which is the part of the gun that suffers most. The mould of this piece has been modified (many models were inspired by the Japanese Marui system) to provide more resistance to the powerful blowback. Go ahead and grab one, cock it, release it and listen to the amazing metallic sound.

External barrel

Traditionally, 1911 platform guns place the barrel just over the body, although this has evolved over time and therefore RUDIS includes a threaded elongated barrel in case you want to attach a silencer. Which will also prevent the dirt from coming in while you crawl or in the heat of battle. This thread is protected by a washer which resembles a muzzle and provides the model with a different look.

The question at this point is, will you be among those who speak, or those who fall silent? A new brand under the name secutor reaches the market with its new rudis models and makes a clear statement "Secutor Dicit, Inimicus Silet".
