THE HUNTER HUNTED

Controlling my breathing, hearing the rustling of the leaves under my boots, feeling the salty drop of sweat that runs down my forehead, connecting with my throbbing  ngertips holding the knife. Time slows down, everything is sharper, slow becomes agile and your eyes focus on the prey.

He is there, immersed in the battle, in the continuous and booming buzz of replicas shooting ceaselessly. As a "good" airsoft player, he looks only ahead of him, towards the battle eld, looking to take down his prey not realising he is about to go down himself.

That instant before gently sliding your knife down his back, when his body language shows fear and surprise combined. That moment, precisely that moment, will determine that you have moved on to a new game status in which you will not always need to shoot, in which everything is simpler. For you, everything will change in that instant. You will be a hunter, and the rest, your unsuspecting prey.
